Velocity Courier needed to manage consignments, wholesellers and core loaders, invoice customers with carrier-specific markups, and know a package's real delivery status without checking three separate carrier sites by hand.
Consignments, customers, core loaders and wholesellers are modeled explicitly, not bolted onto a generic “orders” table.
Integrates DHL, UPS and FedEx tracking (API where available, resilient scraping as fallback) so delivery status stays current without manual lookups.
Default markup percentages are set per carrier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) and apply automatically when a rate sheet is built into an invoice.
Fourteen modules — dashboard, consignments, customers, invoices, payments, expenses, ledgers, reports, staff and more — each carry independent view/create/edit/delete permissions per role.
Payments, expenses and ledger entries reconcile in-app, with Excel export (openpyxl) for offline accounting.
